Odd winds 2022 event - Chapter number 3
It was great to be together with Shiu. We talked a lot and she told me of their friends as I told her of mine. After a while, we decided to look for them. I doubt that I would find my friends but maybe I can help Shiu find hers. It took a while but finally, we found some of them. They all looked different, like creatures I had never seen before this day. Until now I thought a gryphon had two feathered wings, four legs a tail and a beak while a Dragon looked a bit different but not so much. A dragon just had scales and no beak but all in all, we a pretty alike in my opinion but these creatures all had a bit different anatomy. They had more legs, more heads or no wings. I would probably have freaked out but after I had spent some time with Shiu I realised they are not so different, when you ignore the other limbs or that some of them had no wings.
It was nice to get to know everyone. There was no big difference between them. Some were kind while others were more curious or scared. Others loved to pick up a fight and were easy to get angry but all in all, they were just like us. Everyone with a different personality.
It was nice to get to know each of them but all did not know why there are there.
I was together with them for a while, just talking, as we all heard a really loud growl and noises like someone was on a rampage. "What was that?" I asked not knowing where the sound come from. "I don't know but maybe we should look if someone needs our help," Eros said, a pink Dragon with two heads and four extra arms. He is friendly and loves to hug everyone. I did not complain, I kinda liked his attitude and likes to be near him. He is just a friendly big guy.
We decided to go look what that sound was and if some kind of catastrophe happened, some of us wanted to help.
We flew, or run like some of us had no wings, to where the noise came from. As we approached it we could hear that it got louder and louder. And it sounded like one big creature was tearing down a whole city.
As we got near the sound we could see a big creature. When I thought that my new friends were something new I had seen now this one made a new point. While I could see the gryphon and dragon species in Shiu und Eros this one here was different and way bigger than us. The creature was grey with a bit of Pink on its chest and it seems it had no eyes. Their body was thin and I was happy that I was not near enough to see all those teeth in their mouth. The strangest thing tho was the smoke that seems to come from them. I did not know how I should describe what I saw at this moment. Dragons and Gryphons were fighting this creature and tried to stop them. "Phoebe, what are you doing here?" I heard a familiar voice and as I looked in the direction the voice came from I saw Agies. "Agies what is happening here? What is that?" I could ask more but at that time I could hear the roar again. "What is the Wyrm. We did not know why he is attacking the city but we could use any help. Be it in the fight or treating the wounded." Agies said. Bevor I even could say something some of my new friends run and fly into the fight against the Wyrm. "I stay behind and help the wounded," Eros said and as Agies nodded he pointed in a direction. "There are some. Get them out of range and treat their wounds as good as you could." With these words, Agies fley away, as did Shiu to fight the Wyrm. "Eros I come with you maybe I can help," I said and followed the pink dragon.
We could hear the fight and as we arrived at the Place Agies mentioned I saw a second familiar face. This time I did not have friendly memories of it. "Mocca is that you?" I asked as I approached the Dragon and saw that she was hurt. "Whatever happened between you two put it aside we need to tent her wounds and help the others." I nodded as I heard Eros's words. He was right. whatever was between us could wait till later, or I can just ignore Mocca and leave her alone after all this.
For now, I decided to put all bad though aside and just help the one that needed help. It was not easy to get the wounded out of the attacking range but Eros and I were not alone. Some Dragon and Gryphons flew to the battlefield and got the wounded out there to us. I remembered that there was a lake nearby and flew there to get some fresh water for the wounded to clean their wounds or to drink. This task was a lot but I did not care. Every claw and paw help was needed here. "Phoebe come here and help me a bit." I looked where the voice came from and saw Eros carrying a smaller dragon. As fast as I could I took a fresh bucket of water and runs towards them. "Here drink it," I said and helped the dragon to drink the water.
I looked back where the fight continues and just hoped that it will end soon. "What are you looking at?" someone asked me and as I looked at the person I saw that it was Mocca. "Nothing I just hope that this fight will end soon," I said and heard a sound that I just could interpret as a snicker. "Have faith in us, little one. It will not be easy but we Dragons can fight and I must admit that I never saw such determined beings as these gryphons fighting for their nest and loved one. All of Soar will fight the Wyrm and I am sure that we will win somehow." With his words, the brown dragon spread her wings and flew again into the battle, even when her wounds were just treated. I looked around and Mocca was not the only one that was ready to fly into the fight as soon as they could and even the ones on the sidelines,
that was just helping like I was determined to give their best.
